Our Mission · Why we exist

Billy as a young boy in a white helmet, riding his first dirt bike across an open field with mountains in the background.
What you see: A little boy having the time of his life on his first dirt bike.

What you don't see: The circumstances that took that little boy away from that little dirt bike — the fighting, the drinking, the drugs… the prisons. The trouble stirred by the idle hands left behind in the little dirt bike's absence.

When people ask why I'm doing this, I usually just say, “It's for the kids.” But the truth is, I just don't know how to put into words how much that little dirt bike might have been able to help the little boy riding it — if only it had been given the chance.

Would it have been enough to save him? I honestly don't know. Billy was wild. Truly.

But I believe it could have helped. And that's the “why” behind the Wild Rose Championship. Not just to help kids find their first little dirt bike, but to bring purpose, discipline, and joy to those Wild Roses like Billy that might otherwise feel lost without it.

The Wild Rose Championship is grassroots racing at its core. Real dirt, real competition, real community. From 3-year-old Stacyc riders in the Youth MX to Pros in the Grand Prix — everyone races together.

A SHOT AT THE DIRT — FOR EVERY KID

Every kid gets a shot — whether their family can write the check or not. The championship is 100% free / donation-based so that no Wild Rose gets left out because of what's in their parents' wallet. Bring the family, donate whatever you can afford, and have fun.

BUILT ON COMMUNITY

From Kamiah to Clarkia, 6 motorsports across 8 locations and 15 rounds — it's all powered by people who love the sport and want to see it grow.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

If you want to help our Wild Roses grow, there are plenty of ways to get involved. Volunteer at an event. Donate to keep the championship free for everyone. Follow and share our socials. Show up and bring a friend.
